Digitally re-mastered two CD set containing a trio of albums from the Folk fiddler originally released on the Transatlantic label in the mid 1970s: Swarbrick, Swarbrick 2 and Smiddyburn. Swarbrick has had a long and varied career from the Ian Campbell Trio to Fairport Convention, but has earned world-wide recognition as a leading Folk instrumentalist.
Dave Swarbrick 2006 in London. Dave Swarbrick, eigentlich David Swarbrick, (* 5.April 1941 in New Malden, London; † 3. Juni 2016) war ein britischer Folk-Geiger.. Biographie Dave Swarbrick, 1970er Jahre. In den 1950er Jahren begann Swarbrick zunächst Klavier zu lernen, wählte jedoch schon bald die Geige als sein Hauptinstrument. Außerdem spielte er Mandoline und gelegentlich Gitarre.
