Surfer Rosa est le premier album du groupe américain Pixies, sorti en mars 1988 sur le label indépendant 4AD [3].Parmi les caractéristiques importantes de cet album on peut citer le son unique, garage, expérimental et lo-fi, en particulier sa batterie très présente et lourde, qui doit énormément au travail de production de l'ingénieur du son Steve Albini.

14 de feb. de 2007 · Pixies' debut Come on Pilgrim is one of my favorite CDs of all time, and of course Surfer Rosa is excellent as well. This disc, which includes both albums in full, is the perfect way to become familiar with one of the greatest alternative bands of all time. Since both are worth owning, this is definitely the most inexpensive way to get them.
