  2. Album - Waking The Dead (2002)

  3. Waking the Dead, an Album by L.A. Guns. Released 20 August 2002 on Spitfire (catalog no. SPT-15192; CD). Genres: Hard Rock. Rated #1138 in the best albums of 2002 ... and turned out to be the hardest rocking in the entire L.A. Guns discography. So many hooks and if it weren't for Tales, i'd say Phil's vocals haven't sounded any better than this ...

  4. L.A.GUNS entered the studio for their seventh album in early 2002 with veteran producer Andy Johns, who had worked with the likes of Led Zeppelin and Van Halen , to record "Waking the Dead". The album was released in late 2002 and garnered L.A. Guns some of the best reviews the band had ever received.

  5. Waking the Dead is the eighth L.A. Guns album. Released in 2002, it would be the last album featuring band founder Tracii Guns, until he reunited with the band in 2017. It is also the first with bass guitarist Adam Hamilton. The album includes "OK, Let's Roll" - dedicated to Todd Beamer and those who rushed the cockpit of Flight 93 during the events of September 11, 2001 attacks.

  6. To make things even more confusing, Tracii Guns owned the rights to the L.A. Guns name, so between 2006 and 2012, there were two bands operating under the moniker. In 2016, Guns and Lewis buried the hatchet and performed together for the first time in 14 years.

  7. L.A. Guns-Waking The Dead. This is the best L.A. Guns cd up until 2002, I have not heard any of the groups cds after 2002 yet, since the "Vicious Circle" cd, that was released in the middle ninties. The whole cd is very good and if you are an L.A. Guns fan, like I am, then you should definitely include it in your L.A. Guns collection.
