Friends’ Central provides eager young learners with a dynamic and challenging academic program. In the Middle School, students are encouraged to explore and take risks whether they are in the classroom, on the stage, or on the playing fields. Students in grades 6-8 are ready to think more abstractly and question more critically.
Curriculum. Friends’ Central’s Upper School curriculum provides students an exceptional college preparatory program in an atmosphere that sets the highest of academic and personal standards. The environment is one in which students are encouraged to find their own voices and pursue their own intellectual, spiritual, and ethical passions.
cluzuriaga. On January 8, James C. Wright, Clerk of the Board of Trustees, announced to the School community on behalf of the Board that Beth D. Johnson '77 will be stepping into the role of Interim Head of Friends' Central School beginning July 2021. Craig N. Sellers completes his nine-year tenure as Head of School at the end of this school year.

The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete and costs $60. Friends’ Central’s school code is 1845. With Clarity the process is more streamlined and straightforward and you will not need to upload any additional documents unless prompted to do so. Most families will only need to upload their most recent pay stub (s).
