Biography of Ingrid Rosen Ingrid von Rosen, also known as Ingrid Bergman, was a Swedish actress and the wife of renowned Swedish director Ingmar Bergman. She was born as Ingrid Karlebo on January 17, 1930, in Stockholm, Sweden. In 1953, she married Swedish count Jan-Carl von Rosen, but their marriage ended in 1971. Later that same year, Ingrid entered into a marriage with director Ingmar Bergman.
