Phil Thornalley, né Philip Carden Thornalley le 5 janvier 1960 à Worlington dans le Suffolk [1], est un producteur, auteur-compositeur et musicien (notamment bassiste) britannique. Il est connu pour avoir fait partie du groupe The Cure.

He is probably best known for co-writing and producing the international smash 'Torn' for Natalie Imbruglia, but his early career involved playing bass for The Cure and producing their records ('Love Cats', 'Pornography').

He has since reinvented himself as one of this country's leading pop songwriters and producers, most recently with teen sensation Pixie Lott.
