Julian Charles John Lennon (born John Charles Julian Lennon; 8 April 1963) is an English musician, photographer, author, and philanthropist.He is the son of Beatles member John Lennon and his first wife, Cynthia, and he is named after his paternal grandmother, Julia Lennon.Julian inspired three Beatles songs: "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" (1967), "Hey Jude" (1968), and "Good Night" (1968).

16 de mar. de 2008 · Although the title was widely perceived to be a coded reference to LSD, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds in fact took its name from a drawing of a schoolfriend by the four-year-old Julian Lennon. It appeared on The Beatles' 1967 album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
This is the hommage Julian did for his girl friend when he was in kindergarden: Lucy O'Donnell. She inspired "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" to John Lennon as his son (little Julian) showed him a drawing he did for her then. She died from lupus and Julian was touched by how that disease has a crual way to kill.

And it’s not like Julian Lennon is going to remember what a drawing he did in nursery school looks like. But obviously, whether it is THE original or not, it was the drawing that, at some point, was deemed “the original drawing Julian Lennon did of ‘Lucy in the sky with diamonds'” and eventually it was sold at auction to David Gilmour.
