'70s workaholic guitarist Mick Ronson's solo debut album, Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, was issued in 1974 by RCA Records.Backed by bassist Trevor Bolden, drummer Aynsley Dunbar and keyboardist Mike Garson, the self-produced album leads off with a cover of the mellow "Love Me Tender", while the Richard Rodgers penned instrumental title track closes out the recording with a dark vibe.
