This set also includes the debut single 'She Is Beyond Good And Evil' (also remastered) as well as the 10 track album Alien Blood, and the album titled Y Live.
The Pop Group are an English rock band formed in Bristol in 1977 by vocalist Mark Stewart, guitarist John Waddington, bassist Simon Underwood, guitarist/saxophonist Gareth Sager, and drummer Bruce Smith. Their work in the late 1970s crossed diverse musical influences including punk, dub, funk, and free jazz with radical politics, helping to pioneer post-punk music.

In the same year The Pop Group released their debut single She is Beyond Good & Evil / 3:38 This is the 40th anniversary definitive 3CD edition of Y remastered from the original tapes and featuring the ten track album Alien Blood, and the live album Y Live.

Terrifying album :) i regret turning down the opportunity to see this lot live in 79. Sadly, that boat has now sailed. Im not sure why but our local record shop had about a dozen copies of this in their ‘Bargain’ rack back in ‘79. Along with multiple copies of Ultravox’s equally as uncompromising Ha! Ha! Ha!
