Research Interests: the ecology of California marine fishes, with an emphasis on the Southern California Bight, the evolution of marine fishes in the tropical eastern Pacific, and the life history of fishes, including species from the Gulf of California.
It tackles topics such as earthquakes, climate change, the formation of continents and oceans, resource development, the hydrosphere and the origins of life. Oxy’s geology program offers you an understanding of the Earth, the processes that affect its surface and interior, its formation and evolution through time, and its function as the physical environment for the living world.
