"The Spencer Davis Group is the lesser-known work of Steve Winwood, but that is fully understandable. Winwood was 18 years old when "Gimme Some Lovin'" was a chart-topping single and people were bewildered at how such a catchy and excellent original composition could be sung as fantastically as it was by an 18-year-old.
