In November 1918, a few days before the Armistice, Edouard Péricourt (Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, Glue) saves Albert Maillard's (Albert Dupontel, Irreversible) life. The two men have nothing in common but the war. By ordering a senseless assault, Lieutenant Pradelle destroys their lives while binding them as companions in misfortune.
The two men have nothing in common apart from their experience of war and their hatred for Lieutenant Pradelle, whose order for one final absurd attack shatters their lives.
