Guitar Trio. In this project, Rhys Chatham comes to the city where Guitar Trio will be presented and teaches the work to local musicians in one or two workshop rehearsals.. While Guitar Trio in the 70s was performed with 3 electric guitarists, one electric bass and drummer, today’s version uses a minimum of six electric guitars (including Chatham), with a maximum of ten.

Several evening-length works have been written by Rhys Chatham for 100 electric guitars, bass and drums, the first of which was entitled AN ANGEL MOVES TOO FAST TO SEE.
