30 de oct. de 2023 · Heathmont College acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Lands that we are privileged to walk upon and learn on each day, which is the land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, who are our knowledge holders, story keepers and teachers.
About the project. We added a performing arts centre (for music and drama), as well as a canteen to the school’s gymnasium building. We also built a car park. We talked with school leaders to ensure works would help achieve educational goals. We ensured that improvements targeted areas that required them most.
HEATHMONT COLLEGE. Principal - Mr. John Handley Heathmont is progressively establishing itself on a single campus with new and improved facilities for science, technology, sports gymnasium, administration and a new VCE centre, together with development of its beautiful garden setting.
Beginning in 2024, Heathmont College are partnering with Real Schools to create a Restorative culture at the college. Real Schools is an organisation started by Adam Voight (former teacher and principal) and you can access their webpage here.. As we move through the partnership, resources and ideas will be uploaded to this space as needed.
Tier 1: Universal support at Heathmont College. Tier 1supports include approaches to teaching positive behaviours to the whole school population. Every student across the college are exposed to these concepts in order to support their positive behaviour journey. Acknowledging, Reinforcing and Recognising Expected Behaviours.
