Choosing the Pre-U examinations over A-levels, Winchester College is unapologetically demanding on academic achievement and, being heavily over-subscribed, has the luxury of enrolling the most gifted students.
2023 A-level Results. The College is delighted with another year of strong results in A-level examinations. 40.7% of grades were at A* and 77.9% were A*/A. 23% of the pupils in the year group secured at least three A* grades, of whom 15 pupils achieved four A* or more. 57% of the year group achieved straight As or better at A-level.
