  2. Lust Lust Lust seems like a good place to start my Raveonettes collection as it's their highest rated album here on RYM and I can't say that I'm disappointed. This is a group with influences that are easy to spot, namely The Jesus and Mary Chain and while I'm not a huge fan of noise pop/rock, The Raveonettes manage to avoid burying some of their catchy melodies is a mush of feedback and noise.

The Raveonettes had abandoned the clean refined sound and returned to their fuzzed-out roots whereas keeping things simple in songwriting. They had also left Columbia records, to join Fierce Panda, an indie record label based in London.
