Sylvia Plath is one of the most famous poets of the 20th century and certainly one of the most tragic. Her poems are equal parts thoughtful and heartbreaking. Being born in 1932 and living only 30 years before taking her own life, Plath is a poet who battled with the struggles of mental health from a very young age.
