Kate Bush. Highly distinctive singer/songwriter, born July 30th, 1958 in Bexleyheath, London, UK. Bush was signed to EMI at age 16 after David Gilmour heard her work and helped her produce a demo tape. In 1978 (at age 19), her debut single "Wuthering Heights" reached #1 in four countries. She has maintained a large cult following ever since.

6 de may. de 2008 · Nice DVD release of the out-of-print 1979 Kate Bush tour, from London's Hammersmith Odeon. Any fan of Kate Bush should own this footage. We can only hope to get film of her followup at the same venue, 35 years later! The show focused on her first two releases, along with one from her then forthcoming third, all before her more progressive work.
