UT Austin Student Population. There are 52,384 students including 41,309 undergraduate and 11,075 graduate students at The University of Texas at Austin for the academic year 2022-2023. By attending status, there are 49,081 full-time and 3,303 part-time students with gender distribution of 23,099 male and 29,285 female students.

The university has 9,060 first-time freshmen undergraduates, according to data collected on the 12th class day of this semester.
