The Doors were honored for the 50th anniversary of their self-titled album release, January 4, 2017, with the city of Los Angeles proclaiming that date "The Day of the Doors". At a ceremony in Venice, Los Angeles Councilmember Mike Bonin introduced surviving members Densmore and Krieger, presenting them with a framed proclamation and lighting a Doors sign beneath the famed 'Venice' letters.

11 de ene. de 2021 · Rhino are reissuing The Doors‘ compilation album 13 later this month. 13 was the first Doors ‘best of’ and was issued in November 1970, five months before the band delivered LA Woman, their last studio album with Jim Morrison. The title refers to the thirteen tracks included, and all in all it’s a fairly predictable collection of the band’s more radio-friendly output up until that point.

Woman is the sixth studio album by the American rock band the Doors, released on April 19, 1971 by Elektra Records.It is the last to feature lead singer Jim Morrison during his lifetime, due to his death exactly two months and two weeks following the album's release, though he would posthumously appear on the 1978 album An American Prayer.
