26 de dic. de 2023 · Luffy and Boa fulfill some cute tropes like enemies to lovers, as initially Hancock had an antagonistic relationship with Luffy and was the antagonist of the Amazon Lily arc. Later on, as the Summit War Saga unfolded, their roles shifted, and she ultimately became Luffy’s ally and started to fall in love with him.
My biggest issue with Luffy x Hancock is the obvious lack of emotional buildup and development. I just don’t see Oda shoving Hancock into the final plot as a way to validate their romance. I also don’t see Luffy suddenly falling in love with Hancock or accepting her marriage after rejecting her and barely seeing her for most of his journey.
29 de ago. de 2022 · Luffy’s potential love interest is believed to be Boa Hancock, as she openly states she loves him and wishes to marry him. There is a chance Luffy might love Nami, although their relationship seems more platonic. But, many fans believe the Pirate King and Pirate Empress would be the most probable One Piece ship.
Luffy does not share Boa Hancock’s romantic feelings for him. He sees her as a friend and an ally, but he is not interested in romance or marriage at all. He has rejected her proposals multiple times, usually without even understanding what they mean. He is also oblivious to her advances and does not notice her jealousy or affection.
