Geschichte. Jim Seals und Dash Crofts machten schon Mitte der 1950er in Texas Musik in verschiedenen Formationen, bevor sie 1958 zu der Band The Champs gelangten, die gerade mit Tequila einen großen Hit hatten. 1966 lösten sich die Champs auf. Crofts ging zurück nach Texas, Seals gründete die Band The Dawnbreakers, die jedoch erfolglos blieb.
Jimmy Seals and Dash Crofts – two Texas musicians who were enormously popular in the 1970s, remembered for their hits Summer Breeze , Hummingbird , Diamond Girl, We May Never Pass This Way Again, and Get Closer. They made their pop/rock sound famous with incredible vocal harmony, musicianship and Baha’i-inspired songs.
