After a few minutes, the gas leak causes an explosion, and all the gremlins are killed. Not all of them! Kate spots one survivor, Stripe, in the window of a Montgomery Ward's department store. He had left the theater briefly to obtain food, and saw the explosion. Determined not to let Stripe escape, Billy and Kate break into the store.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Madam Claw. I liked her more the more I saw her. She's the most flesh out among the Gremlin leaders. And best of all, she had a plan. Motives. She knew what she wanted and was working towards it. But Stripe is a punker. A 'f**k you, I'm gonna break your mailbox cause I feel like it' punker. And he's just plain scarier.
