This release features a rare live show recorded at the Koseinenkin Hall, Tokyo, Japan on May 18 and 19, 1973. It also features a previously unreleased live show recorded at the Rainbow Theatre in London, England on January 26, 1974. Live In Japan 1973 was recorded only a few weeks after Beck, Bogert & Appice’s self-titled debut came out.
12 de ene. de 2008 · Someone at Sony, please take notice and give "Beck, Bogert, Appice" the remixed / remastered treatment it so richly deserves. Maybe you could also include some unreleased outtakes and / or some studio recordings that were meant for their never completed, never released second album.
Sure Bob Tench's vocals may have been more soulful on the 'Jeff Beck Group' version, but Tim Bogert does a fantastic job as well. This was released as a double LP, and in my opinion it's one of the best double live rock LP's to have been released during the 70s. Reply See 1 reply 11 . Helpful.
