A veces puede ocurrir que desaparezca el Panel de control de Nvidia, pero no que se desinstale. Por ejemplo, si haces clic derecho en el Escritorio debería aparecer en el menú contextual el Panel de control de Nvidia. Si desaparece del menú, accede al Administrador de tareas y en la columna Procesos busca " Nvidia Container ".
Si esto no funciona lo que podrías intentar es primero eliminar el controlador actual desde la ventana "Administrador de dispositivos" y reinstalarlo pero desde el modo seguro para evitar que pierdas imagen de la pantalla y puedas hacer todo el procedimiento sin perder imagen en ningún momento.

3 de jun. de 2022 · I did test it out by switching the resolution to 1280x720 and in the advanced display settings it did say 120hz, but I don't want to sacrifice quality for smoothness, as this monitor should support 1920x1080@144hz. I've tried using the Nvidia control panel "Create Custom Resolution" but no save option appears after I press test with 144hz selected.
