Voices from Beyond (1991) gets an automatic pass from me just for trying to cash-in on the The Beyond. Sadly, this is also one of the few late Fulci efforts where footage wasn't recycled into his masterpiece, Cat in the Brain (1988).

There are some incredibly atmospheric visuals here, with Fulci conjuring up a New Orleans that seems rooted in the past, with swirling fogs, ancient buildings and swamplands – it’s one of the most gothic horror films since the heyday of Hammer and Corman’s Poe films.
1 de nov. de 2017 · Voices from Beyond is a poetic revenge movie. It's beautifully shot, one of the most good looking Fulci-movies since Murder Rock. It's also seems like Fulci maybe had a little bit money, a little bit more time, to make this movie. The direction is very good and the camera compositions is up there among his best.
