Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii recording techniques Does anyone have information on how the sound was achieved for the this legendary performance? The band is playing in an ancient theater in the ruins of Pompeii, and while in the video footage you can see everything is closed mic’d like normal, I can only assume the engineers put up various mics to capture the ambience of such an epic settting.
