It's not really a downgrade because Koichi kept everything else. I think that is it as well, mainly because when he finally managed to pull out Act 3, he was angry and swearing up a storm about not wanting to be killed by some shitty serial killer. Echoes Act 3 simply contains all of the sass.

Echoes Act 3 Blows. Echoes Act 3 is such a downgrade from Act 2 that I’m shocked I don’t hear it brought up more. Koichi went from being able to give any trait to any object he wanted to just being able to make shit heavy. Thinking about it, Koichi could literally just write “Heavy” on something and it would achieve the exact same effect.
