27 de feb. de 2021 · Robert Tench, más conocido como Bobby Tench (Londres, 21 de septiembre de 1944) es un músico y compositor británico. Tench obtuvo reconocimiento inicialmente por su trabajo con Freddie King y Van Morrison, además de su asociación con las agrupaciones The Jeff Beck Group, Humble Pie, Streetwalkers y The Van Morrison Band.
After hearing Bobby Tench perform with his band Gass, "Upstairs" at Ronnie Scott's club in Soho, London, Beck employed him as vocalist and second guitarist. Bobby Tench fronting the group in 1971. Tench was given only a few weeks to write new lyrics and add his vocals to the album Rough and Ready , before mixing resumed on tracks previously recorded in London by Beck and the other band members.

27 de feb. de 2024 · Bobby Tench, a veteran English vocalist and guitarist who worked with the likes of Jeff Beck, Peter Green, Humble Pie, Ginger Baker, Van Morrison and many more, died on Feb. 19, aged 79. Tench was born in 1944 in London and established himself as a regular on the city’s ’60s club circuit.
