Big Wreck est un groupe américain de hard rock, originaire de Boston, dans le Massachusetts.En 2010, Ian Thornley et Brian Doherty se réunissent pour une tournée canadienne, jouant des morceaux de Big Wreck et Thornley [2].En 2012, sous le nom de Big Wreck, le groupe sort un troisième album, Albatross.Leur dernier album en date, Grace Street, est publié en février 2017.

I Big Wreck vennero formati da Ian Thornley, Brian Doherty, Dave Henning e Forrest Williams, quando si conobbero al Berklee College of Music. Dopo qualche anno passato facendo concerti tra Boston e Cambridge, il gruppo firmò un contratto con la Atlantic Records nel 1997 [2] e pubblicò l'album di debutto In Loving Memory Of... il 7 ottobre 1997.
