About The Sadies. One of the most accomplished bands to emerge from the North American indie and roots rock scene, the Sadies, led by brothers Dallas Good and Travis Good, crafted a distinctive sound absorbing traditional country, surf music, and garage rock, and blending them into something unique with their estimable instrumental skills.
The Sadies are a Canadian rock and roll / country and western band from Toronto, Ontario. The band consists of Travis Good, Sean Dean and Mike Belitsky. Dallas Good, a founding member, died in 2022. Dallas and Travis are the sons of Margaret and Bruce Good, and nephews of Brian and Larry Good, who are members of the Canadian country group The Good Brothers.
One of the best live bands of the last 25 years, The Sadies’ previous albums, though excellent, never quite captured their on-stage genius. It’s debatable whether Colder Streams achieves this, or whether their 11th LP succeeds by not even trying; what’s inarguable is that it’s a stone-cold masterpiece in its own right.
