Comets on Fire hail from Santa Cruz, CA. The band was formed in 1999 by guitarist and vocalist Ethan Miller and longtime friend bassist Ben Flashman, who were seeking to create a rhythmically and sonically intense music that paid no attention to categorizations -- all the while being suckers for anthemic rock riffs, psychedelia, and crunching crescendos.

Comets on Fire, one of today's most exciting bands, have successfully blown my mind into pieces with their epic masterpiece Blue Cathedral. Playing sludgy psychedelia at high velocities and creating volleys of sonic textures amongst powerful riffs in loose but never lost jams, the flaming comets have proven themselves a cosmic force to be reckoned with.

Comets On Fire est un groupe de rock indépendant américain, originaire de Santa Cruz, en Californie.Il est formé en 1999 par le chanteur et guitariste Ethan Miller et son ami de longue date le bassiste Ben Flashman. Leur but était de créer une musique très intense au niveau du rythme et des sonorités sans prêter attention aux catégories de musique déjà existantes.
