Old Man Markley is a punk & bluegrass band based out of Los Angeles, CA. Founded in 2007, the band consisted of John Carey, Annie DeTemple, Alex Zablotsky, Jeff Fuller, Joey Garibaldi, Ryan Markley, John Rosen, and Katie Weed. The band was signed to Fat Wreck Chords in 2010, but has largely been inactive since 2015.

Formed in 2007, Old Man Markley introduced their 21st century punk jug and string band style on the 2010 EP For Better for Worse, following it with another EP, 2011's Party Shack, then released a full-length debut, Guts n' Teeth, that same year. Down Side Up, the band's sophomore outing, appeared early in 2013. ~ Steve Leggett.
