Por otra parte, Sinister 2 no hace absolutamente nada por expandir o desarrollar el misterio del Bughuul, quien en esta película es una nabo que se convierte en un elemento más de utilería. Lo único rescatable de este film es la interpretación de Shannyn Sossamon (Corazón de caballero), quien se destaca claramente como lo mejor de esta producción.
