15 de dic. de 2023 · In 1985, Siri left the band and was replaced by former Quarterflash keyboardist Rick DiGiallonardo and the group released the independent EP Breathless. By 1987, the band had become a top draw in the region and a record deal was signed with Polygram.

The void left by keyboardist Jeff Siri was filled by former Quarterflash member Rick DiGiallonardo. Breathless was barely critically acclaimed—however, the extended play paved way for Dan Reed Network’s groundbreaking work in the late ‘80s.
25 de oct. de 2018 · The sax-heavy pop/rock band known as Quarterflash formed in early 1980, joining together two of Oregon's more popular acts: Seafood Mama, which contributed singer/saxophonist Rindy Ross and her guitarist husband Marv; and Pilot, which added guitarist Jack Charles, keyboardist Rick DiGiallonardo, bassist Rich Gooch, and drummer Brian David Willis.
Rick DiGiallonardo is replaced by keyboardist Blake Sakamoto from the L.A. based band [of Portlanders!] Dear Mr. President. Band records debut album at Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, BC with producer Bruce Fairbairn (who previously worked with Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and Loverboy) [and most recently produced the latest Yes album before he passed away in 1999].
