La sua poliedrica attività di pensatrice ha spaziato dalla poesia alla critica d’arte, dalla filosofia al giornalismo. Proprio per il giornale inglese d’avanguardia The New Age, esce nel 1909 sotto forma di allegato il libro Woman’s Worst Enemy: Woman, considerato il suo manifesto femminista.
