After the joining of Rod Stewart and Ron Wood in 1969, the band became Faces.In the United States, the first Faces album First Step was credited to Small Faces. Although originally the band split up in March 1969, the classic lineup - minus Ronnie Lane - reunited in 1977 and disbanded again in 1978.
