23 de oct. de 2012 · Rod Evans (born 19 January 1947 in Slough, Berkshire) is a former English singer and was a founding member of Deep Purple in 1968. He provided vocals for the group's first three albums, including the hit singles "Hush" and "Kentucky Woman".
Rod Evans. Roderic Evans (born 19 January 1947) is a retired British singer known as the original vocalist of the rock bands Deep Purple and Captain Beyond. Evans began his professional career in The Maze before becoming a founding member of Deep Purple in 1968, with whom he recorded their first three studio albums.
14 de sept. de 2020 · Lead up to the Recording: July of 1969 to 1972, Rod did very little musically. During this time he seems to have attended medical school in America. Some sources such as Discogs say this single was released in October of 1970. Jerry Bloom says it was released in October of 1971 (via Rod Evans Facebook Page in 2014).
