Stopáž v délce 105 minut byla zvolena zcela nepatřičně, jelikož kromě již zmíněných nedostatků si divák nevybuduje ani žádný hlubší vztah k postavám a jejich osud je mu tedy víceméně lhostejný.

Abrams, kreeg het de werktitel Valencia. Uiteindelijk kreeg de film de titel 10 Cloverfield Lane om als onrechtstreeks vervolg te dienen op Cloverfield uit 2008.
