Wendy Waldman is one of the most gifted american singer-songwriter, who has always enjoyed strong critical acclaim, but never reached the commercial success she deserved because of the poor label support and promotion she received. 1976's "The main refrain" may be her best album, along with her terrific 1973's debut lp, and is the second to last record published through Warner Brothers.
