Before he became a Catholic Priest, Fr. Bengry worked in a variety of communications/design capacities and was a free-lance designer. Fr. Bengry is the Parish Priest at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in the historic Inglewood neighbourhood and is the Dean of the St. John the Baptist Deanery of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
While their post-modern bricolage mirrors Beck’s appropriation skills, Tjinder Singh and his mates craft an album of multi-cultural rhythms, textures and lyrical references. The one-world/one-groove outlook anticipates the 21st century with a glee born of spiritual and physical contentment, rather than Beck’s new-pollution dourness.
