The discography of the Greek contemporary instrumental musician Yanni includes 19 studio albums and eight live albums.In 1987 he put together a small band which included John Tesh and Charlie Adams, and began touring to promote his earliest instrumental albums, Keys to Imagination, Out of Silence, and Chameleon Days.. Dare to Dream was released in 1992.
25 de jul. de 2021 · Yiannis Chryssomallis, known professionally as "Yanni" was born November 14, 1954 in Kalamata, Greece, where he was a competitive swimmer with a national record. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and then turned to music as a self-taught pianist who could not read music, but had perfect pitch.

Born on November 14, 1954 and raised in Kalamata, Greece, Yanni Hrisomallis (pronounced Chrysomallis, more or less) followed other paths before his music became his primary focus. At age 14 Yanni broke a national swimming record in Greece, and even dreamed of becoming an Olympic swimmer.
