Bernie Tormé. (18 March 1952 – 17 March 2019) was an Irish rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, record label and recording studio owner. Tormé is best known for his work with Gillan, as well as his brief stints with Ozzy Osbourne's backing band and Atomic Rooster. Atomic Rooster. Live in Germany 1983.
27 de nov. de 2013 · The modern-day Steeleye sees long-servers Prior, Peter Knight, Rick Kemp and Liam Genockey joined by Julian Littman and the much-travelled multi-instrumentalist Pete Zorn. From the atmospheric and premonitory Overture onwards, it’s a cohesive and vital unit here, with Knight’s violin taking the lead in a percussive, premonitory opening scene.
With Maddy returning to the band in 2002, Steeleye Span reformed with a “classic” lineup, with Maddy being joined by Peter Knight Rick Kemp, Liam Genockey and Bob Johnson. In 2022 we issued The Art Is In The Rhythm which featured an improvised performance of Trevor in partnership with drummer, Liam Genockey. Following on from the success of that release, Volume 2 features the same duo, this time augmented by Peter Knight on violin, Ernest Mothle, bass and the Ghanaian pairing of Nana Tsiboe and Kofi Adu on a wide variety of African percussion.
