In the last 10 years my bass frequencies crossed their paths with Pat’s traps and buttons many many times. We’ve been onstage having fun creating creativity and grooves on the spot and we have created creative music being 8216 km away from each other. Normally you have a blank page when you compose on a drums piece. Not with Pat.

To describe Pat Mastelotto as a drummer’s drummer would be an understatement. His work sits on the border of the experimental and accessible, often blending the lines between the two. Since his arrival on the scene in the mid 1980’s, he has steadily blazed a trail through such acts like Mr. Mister, XTC and most notably King Crimson while releasing a collection of unique collaborative albums.
Pat Mastelotto vlastným menom Lee Patrick Mastelotto (* 10. september 1955, Chico, Kalifornia, USA) je americký bubeník a perkusionista, od roku 1994 člen rockovej skupiny King Crimson. Mastelotto začal hrať na bicie vo svojich 10 rokoch, ako šestnásťročný už hral v rôznych miestnych kapelách.
