Other Lives gained additional attention in 2012 when they opened for one leg of an American tour by Radiohead and also appeared at the Coachella Festival. An EP, Mind the Gap, appeared later that year, followed in 2015 by the sonically opulent Rituals, which like its predecessor found favor both at home and abroad.

Other Lives is een Amerikaanse indie- en folkband, die is opgericht in Stillwater (Oklahoma). De groep was van 2004 tot 2008 actief als een meer instrumentale band, die neigde naar avant-garde, onder de naam Kunek. Other Lives bestaat uit vijf overgebleven leden van Kunek. Nadat ze op 7 oktober 2008 hun eerste ep uitbrachten, verscheen op 31 maart 2009 hun gelijknamige debuutalbum.
