User Reviews. Not bad for a movie that only cost $100,000 and was filmed in three weeks. Bull does not feature epic shootouts or fight scenes, but it does have a magnetic-intimidating lead performance from Neil Maskell and moments of sheer brutality. In my opinion, this is enough to recommend Bull to anyone interested in darker revenge movies.
Review by Theo ★★★½ 3. Bull in a china shop revenge story, directed and performed with alarming urgency. Very much in vein of Saulnier’s Blue Ruin, if a slight less bleak and dirty (and good). The sooner British filmmakers realise Neil Maskell is the best lead man we have, the sooner we’ll make the best movies on earth.

There is nothing good about him other than his devotion to Aiden.
