Eisley was formed in 1997 in their bedroom after youngest sibling, Stacy, wrote their first song at age 8. They performed first show in Spring '98, grew in local coffee house/rock venue, played 100's of shows as unsigned indie for 4 years ('98 - '02) in Texas, found and audience in Dallas’s Deep Ellum crowd about the time Sunny Day Real Estate released their 4th record.
Currents, the band's fourth long-player, arrived in 2013 and was mirrored by a Kickstarter campaign to raise $100,000 to tour in support of the release. In 2015, Eisley announced that Chauntelle and Stacy were leaving to pursue their own projects, while Weston would no longer tour with the group (Remington DuPree took over live drumming duties).

Three sisters, a brother, and a cousin take their high, keening harmonies, chiming guitars, and solid rock rhythms a la The Corrs into a darker territory more reflective of the real-world changes the band has recently undergone.
