The CD Strangers on a Train is, in my opinion, the Left Banke’s finest recordings. It was a mid 70’s lp for a long time, but the newly released CD has only enhanced those recordings. Steve Martin Caro was a great front man for the band. His vocalizations with Tom Finn and George Cameron were awesome. This is my favorite recordings by them.

Tracks 1 to 10 remained unreleased until 1986 except for tracks 10 b/w 6 released as The Left Banke - Queen Of Paradise 7" in 1978. [Booklet credits wrongly title its A side Queen Of America.] This reissue has the track sequence of the UK Bam Caruso release titled Voices Calling .
