Graham Simpson (13 October 1943 – 17 April 2012) was an English musician. He was a founding member and bassist of Roxy Music. Gary Tibbs. More images. Real Name: Gary Brian Tibbs. Profile: English bassist, notably for Adam And The Ants and Corey Hart, born 25 January 1958 in Northwood, Middlesex, England. Spent time in New York City and Los Angeles, before becoming involved in artist development in Sydney, Australia where he works at Alchemy Music Group.
The original US release also featured a gatefold sleeve, but replaced Simpson's photo with that of Rik Kenton, who played bass on "Virginia Plain" following Simpson's departure from the group. US distribution of Roxy Music was transferred from Reprise to their affiliated company Atco Records in 1976, and back to Reprise in the mid-1980s.
