27 de mar. de 2024 · The renowned American progressive rock and southern fusion band Dixie Dregs will embark on a tour along the East Coast of the United States starting in April 2024. The lineup, consisting of Steve Morse, Andy West, Rod Morgenstein, and Allen Sloan, will be joined by keyboardist Jordan Rudess for these special performances.
The Dixie Dregs are gearing up for a national U.S. tour starting Feb. 28. The performances will mark the first time in 40 years the original band—Steve Morse (guitar), Andy West (bass), Allen Sloan (violin), Steve Davidowski (keyboards) and Rod Morgenstein (drums)—will share the stage.
Rudess/Morgenstein Project is an album by Jordan Rudess and Rod Morgenstein.It came about after a power outage during a Dixie Dregs concert caused all of the Dregs' instruments to fail except Jordan's, so he and Rod improvised until power was restored and the concert could continue. The chemistry between them was so strong that they decided to make their own album and subsequent tour.
